Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Emily Roth is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in evaluating individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, other aspects of neurodiversity, and any comorbid diagnoses. Dr. Roth sees individuals of all abilities and developmental levels with a range of presenting problems, including emotional dysregulation, social differences, externalizing behaviors, internalizing symptoms, and delays in independent skills. She recognizes that initiating an assessment can be a mentally overwhelming process and wants to support each individual wherever they are in their journey. Dr. Roth understands the complexity of comorbid diagnoses and the intersection of identities. She uses the first session to hear from the individual and their family about their lived experience and history of their presenting problem.
Dr. Roth provides also consultation services to help families access appropriate resources and treatment to address any maladaptive behaviors, enhance social interactions, improve self-regulation, increase functional communication, and support development of independent living skills.
Dr. Roth joined CRG in 2021 after starting her career at Riley’s Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. There, she completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship and was an assistant professor of psychology, specializing in autism and neurodiversity. Dr. Roth is clinically reliable on ADOS-2 administration. Dr. Roth is also licensed through PsyPact and is able to see patients in 40+ states.
