By now, many parents, teachers, teenagers and others have watched the documentary, “Screenagers.” This program uses research and interviews with a wide range of individuals to share information about the positive and negative effects technology has on our busy lives. CRG co-hosted a showing of “Screenagers” in 2017 with St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Nearly 200 hundred people attended and participated in lively discussion groups immediately after the screening. The producers have just come out with new resources for educators. This includes a 3-part Professional Development series. The film’s website also hosts an active blog space that includes a wide range of discussion topics presented through the site’s Tech Talk Tuesdays. Finally, if you would like to watch the documentary at a location near you in the future, dates and locations can be identified here.
