Landmark College (Putney, VT) is the country’s leading private college for students with learning disabilities (LD), ADHD, and those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). For many years, Landmark has run summer programs for college-bound students with these disabilities to provide a structured and empowering “taste of college.” This summer, Landmark is partnering with Aurora University to offer the Summer Transitional Enrichment Program (STEP) for college-bound juniors and seniors with ASD and their parents. The 10-day program (June 20-29) will take place at Aurora University in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Day 1 will include a parent support module designed to help parents better understand their students’ needs with regard to college readiness.
