Did you know? CRG conducts Career Assessments!

As students and their parents begin to consider options for their post-high school experience, one of the important services available at Children's Resource Group is a Career Assessment. This assessment is designed to provide information regarding a student's vocational interests, personality type, and personal values in order to assist in identifying specific career fields for exploration. By appreciating their own interests and preferences, individuals are able to develop their own plan of action to begin to prepare them for success in the world of work. Students receive assistance in determining possible majors, areas of study, selection of an appropriate college environment and vocational alternatives to consider. The Career Assessment includes information gleaned from the:

  • Revised Strong Interest Inventory, which looks at career and educational options
  • Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, which provides information regarding the student's strengths and needs based on personality type
  • Values Scale, which provides important information regarding the student's personal values.
