Andrew J. Brothers, Ph.D., HSPP
Dr. Andrew Brothers is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with emotional, behavioral and learning difficulties. Dr. Brothers conducts intake assessments and psycho-educational testing, if needed, to clarify and diagnose learning issues, attention regulation problems, difficulties with cognitive functions and problems with emotional/behavioral adjustment. Evaluations result in comprehensive planning to address problems with treatment and educational recommendations. Dr. Brothers also conducts short and long term therapy with children and adults to treat problems involving anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment problems, ADHD, family issues and relational/social concerns.
Janel Burchfield, Psy.D., HSPP
Dr. Janel Burchfield is a licensed clinical psychologist who holds a masters and doctoral degree in clinical psychology. She has completed her doctoral training in clinical psychology specializing in children and adolescents. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with developmental, learning, emotional and behavioral problems. Dr. Burchfield provides evaluations, treatment planning, educational recommendations, social skills groups and therapy for children and their families in the areas of ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
Dennis Ray Kinder, Ph.D., HSPP
Dr. Dennis Ray Kinder is a psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children with developmental, behavioral, emotional and learning difficulties. Areas of specialty include ADHD, learning disorders/difficulties and mood spectrum disorders. Nathan Allen Larson, Psy.D., HSPP
Dr. Nathan Larson is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties. Dr. Larson provides individualized evaluations and treatment planning to meet the specific needs of each person and their family. Treatment typically includes some combination of individual, group, and/or family therapy to help people resolve problems including ADHD, problematic behaviors, depression, anxiety, social skill deficits, anger management, and mood regulation difficulties.
Sarah J. Norris, Ph.D., HSPP
Dr. Sarah Norris is a psychologist who provides psychological/psychoeducational evaluations and therapy to children, adolescents and adults with complex developmental, emotional, behavioral and learning difficulties. She specializes in childhood and adult trauma, crisis counseling in disaster, developmental disabilities, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, mood and anxiety disorders and psychological testing. Dr. Norris also has specialized training in child custody evaluation, parent coordination and mediation.
Julie Thompson Steck, Ph.D., HSPP
Dr. Julie T. Steck is a psychologist who specializes in evaluation and intervention of children and adolescents with developmental, learning, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Tonya Foreman, M.D.
Dr. Tonya Foreman has been trained as a child, adolescent, adult and forensic psychiatrist. She has expertise treating patients with mood disorders, ADHD and anxiety disorders. She is the former director of a women's psychiatric unit and has extensive experience working with girls and women of all ages. In addition to providing patient care, Dr. Foreman performs a variety of legal evaluations including child custody, fitness for duty, psychic harm, and civil and criminal competence.
Joshua Lowinsky, M.D.
Joshua Lowinsky, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents, adults and families. He has expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and pharmacologic treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, impulse control disorders and attention regulation disorders. He is particularly interested in working with the unique strengths of each family to optimize treatment response. Dr. Lowinsky is a board examiner for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and often speaks to local and regional physician and mental health audiences on mood disorders and ADHD.

Susan Sherer-Vincent, M.S., LCSW, LMFT
Susan Sherer-Vincent is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed marriage and family therapist who provides individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults. Her areas of expertise include addictions, women's issues, grief/bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, ADHD, divorce recovery, parenting, and marital and family therapy. She has extensive experience with alcohol and drug evaluations, parenting coordination and blended families. Susan is also trained in hostage negotiations and working with law enforcement.

Educational Specialist
David R. Parker, Ph.D.
Dr. David Parker has a Ph.D. in Special Education with a focus on postsecondary programming for students with disabilities. He specializes in working with high school and college students with learning disorders and ADHD. A former high school Special Education teacher, Dr. Parker has run Disability Services offices since 1991 at UNC-Chapel Hill, the University of Connecticut, and Washington University in St. Louis. He helps students develop more effective learning strategies (such as test-taking, note taking, and reading comprehension) and organizational strategies (such as time management). Dr. Parker also helps students and families individualize their search for a "best match" college environment with the academic services and proper documentation needed to thrive in higher education. He has published widely, maintains an active research agenda, and serves on the editorial board for three premier disability journals; additionally, he is the Executive Editor of the Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability. Dr. Parker is available to consult with other professionals on such topics as transition to college, Universal Design for Instruction, ADD coaching, and self-determination theory and practices.
Beth Waite, MA-CCC/SLP-ATP
Beth Waite, MA-CCC/SLP-ATP, has 25 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist and assistive technology provider. She has been certified by RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and A.T. Society of North America) and is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences. She is recognized as an expert in the areas of augmentative communication (A.C.) and assistive technology (A.T.) with emphasis in strengthening students' academic success. Her services include A.T. and A.C. consultations, comprehensive evaluations, and follow-up training sessions for customized technology solutions.
